Most Jobs in the Cyber Security field requires some form of certification, which sets the demands for professional positions in the industry. Such as the GIAC, CISSP, SSCP, and ect.. this is the start to what makinf the professional level of Cyber-Security. There may be jobs in the industry that does not require certain certification but majority requires.
